We are not going to question the customs that exist in the villages about intimacy in the family, we have seen that for us it is very different. Both children and adolescents have seen what sexuality is and we are not going to discuss that, but we do have to raise awareness and provide training so that teenage pregnancies do not occur.
Due to their immaturity, the impact of an early pregnancy predisposes them to psychological problems such as postpartum depression, low self-esteem, as well as the inability to care for their child, the truncation of their life plans and the rejection of their partner or even their family and social environment.

OUR STORY
Background
Due to strange circumstances, one day I became part of an NGO working in Senegal.
The president of this NGO, a doctor, was a friend of my wife, and he tried to get her to sign up as a volunteer nurse, but she did not succeed, and as if it were almost a joke, my wife told him to take me. What do you know how to do? She asks me, to which I answer that I am an administrator and I can keep the accounts of the NGO and besides, French is like my second mother tongue.
